The Bell Community Housing Authority (BCHA) has finalized the Relocation Impact Report (“Report”) for Gage Mobile Home Park. The Report was distributed to residents on August 5, 2026, and is available here.

The Report provides a clear overview of what the closure process means for residents, including potential impacts, available relocation benefits, and the assistance available to help residents transition to a new home. Some of the key components outlined in the report include that eligible households may receive support such as moving assistance, housing search support, rental assistance, down payment assistance, and other resources required under California law. Homeowners will receive in-place fair market value for their homes. Approval of the Report will not require residents to move immediately. If closure of the mobile home park is approved, residents will receive six-month advance notice and relocation financial assistance before any move is required.

The BCHA and the City of Bell are committed to assisting residents throughout this transition and ensuring they have access to information, support, and opportunities to provide input.

Over the next 60 days, the Report will be available for public comment and review. Comments can be submitted to the City Manager’s Office. The City Council of the City of Bell will consider approval of the Report at a public hearing on October 14, 2026.
